We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at Allnex. As a key member of our global business development team, you will be responsible for driving business growth for our Additives regionally by promoting strategic products and identifying market gaps, opportunities, and competitive weaknesses.
Key Responsibilities- Drives business growth for all Additives regionally by promoting strategic products and identifying market gaps, opportunities, and competitive weaknesses.
- Creates new business leads for X-BU Additives in new markets/regions, providing combined expertise for all Additives technologies.
- Improves internal and external awareness for all X-BU Additives and identifies X-segment opportunities for global customers.
- Liaises with global business teams, sales functions, marketing, PLM, and communications and builds the interface for X-BU business growth.
- Led regional adjacency projects (high-potential Additive projects).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the chemical industry – preferred coating technologies: UV curable resins, dispersants, acid catalysts, tires, oxidative driers, and alkyds are a plus.
- Availability to travel 30% of the time.
- Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or related field. MBA and Master's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Polymer Science are preferred.
