**Job Summary**
Ria is seeking a highly skilled Fraud Prevention Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our fraud prevention department, you will play a critical role in identifying and preventing fraudulent transactions.
**Responsibilities**
- Analyze and evaluate transactions based on risk rules to identify potential fraudulent activity.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement effective fraud prevention strategies.
- Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers, including answering incoming calls and resolving issues related to online transactions.
- Conduct thorough research and analysis to identify root causes of losses and develop recommendations for improvement.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Accounting, Compliance, and Customer Service, to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and training materials to enhance fraud prevention efforts.
- Utilize various tools and data sources to gather, analyze, and interpret data to inform fraud prevention strategies.
**Requirements**
- Associate's degree required (Bachelor's degree a plus) or comparable work-related experience.
- Strong analytical, interpretive, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage parallel tasks.
- Strong understanding of customer needs and ability to provide exceptional customer service.
- Demonstrated experience and/or strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong internet research skills and ability to navigate multiple systems.
**Preferred Qualifications**
- Previous e-commerce fraud prevention, investigation, or retail fraud prevention experience.
- Knowledge of Zendesk and Cisco Telephony.
