About This Opportunity
The Account Specialist will report to the Sales Manager and play a key role in supporting the rollout of major initiatives. This person will help the InComm account team support the prepaid category at the retailer with the goal of growing sales and profitability. Responsibilities include:
- Marketing and advertising support: plan, setup and manage promotional activity tracker and creative for all promotional assets
- Maintaining and monitoring project plans, project schedules, budgets, and expenditures
- Develop and implement planograms that are proportionate to the opportunity and strategic direction of the company
- Ensuring project deadlines are met
- Facilitate meetings and distribute minutes to all project team members
- Execute internal and external processes
- Maintain key databases
- Implement best practices and work on continual improvements in all processes and documentation
- Keep abreast of industry trends and changes, advise how these can be brought into the company's offerings/practices through sales and marketing strategies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- 1 to 2 years of Account Management experience
- Business strategy and process skills
- Proven ability to create and implement strategic plans
- Proven ability to prioritize workload throughout multiple accounts
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing tasks and demands in a fast-paced work environment
- Effective verbal and written communication at all levels
- Ability to manage expectations and develop strong working relationships with customers both inside and outside the organization
- Positive attitude and an ability to work independently as well as collaboratively, self-prioritizing workload
- Proficiency in all MS Office applications
