As a Site Manager at Elettric80, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation, and progress monitoring of site activities for specific projects during the installation, start-up, and commissioning phases. You will lead a team of E80 experts and contractors on site, ensuring the company delivers the best achievable customer experience and satisfaction for our clients.
The Site Manager is the first point of contact for our clients for any issues arising during site activities related to installation, start-up, and commissioning of E80 solutions. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing daily reports to E80's Customer and Field Management with activities completed, planned, and resources assigned.
- Scheduling, coordinating, and managing E80 employees and contractors/vendors to accomplish field engineering project tasks/jobs.
- Keeping the SiteLog document updated and uploading it to the shared folder on the server weekly.
- Maintaining professional communication with the customer, ensuring everyone involved in the project is well-informed and aligned with activities on site and their impact on normal mill operations.
- Recording any delays, time lost, or extra costs that may be charged to the customer and ensuring the customer is aware of these time losses.
- Providing weekly updates to the Microsoft Project time plan and updating the document with Key Dates & Activities to the end of the project.
- Monitoring the technical bulletin tool to prevent issues on site and keep track of issues on other projects.
- Ensuring appropriate job orders are given to resources on site, including sub-projects, integrative orders, and warranties.
- Monitoring and reporting System Performances with appropriate analysis of collected data.
- Managing the field engineering budget by scheduling activities and resources to save as much as possible of the assigned budget. Any budget issues must be raised as soon as possible to the Field Director and the PM.
- Overseeing if E80's employees and representatives on site follow safety rules.
- Ensuring the system performs as required in a full safe mode, as per guidelines given by E80's Safety Department.
- Responsible for the Commissioning & Training document (Ready To Run) to be signed off before leaving the system or machine to the customer without E80 representatives on site.
- Organizing Stress Tests of the system to evaluate peak performances and improvement opportunities. Stress tests must be agreed with the E80 system engineer and the PM, who will also provide targets for our tests. Stress tests must be performed prior to the Final Acceptance Test.
- Overseeing the Final Acceptance Test and all involved procedures. One or more FATs must be performed, with the target of proving all contractual functionalities are implemented, contractual reliability for the system is reached, and contractual performances are also reached.
- Ensuring the company has done everything possible to well perform and pass the Final Acceptance Test.
- Overseeing the Handover process.
- Keeping and updating an Open Item List of the project.
Requirements for this role include:
- An associate degree in an industrial field. Significant technical professional experience in the industry of packaging, tissue, or material is required in lieu of formal education.
- Min 2 years of experience coordinating/leading teams for installation, start-up, and commissioning of systems in either packaging, tissue, or material handling industry (500K USD and above).
- Strong organizational and project management skills, in addition to technical knowledge.
- Knowledge of industrial automation machines preferred.

- Communicate Effectively: speak, listen, and write in a clear, thorough, and timely manner using appropriate and effective communication tools and techniques.
- Foster Teamwork: work cooperatively and effectively with E80 employees, vendors, and clients to set goals, resolve problems, and make decisions to achieve site activities project goals.
- Lead: positively influence others to achieve results that are in the best interest of the organization.
- English required. Italian proficiency is a plus.
- Travel: Approximately 70-90%.
