About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned procurement professional to lead our strategic sourcing efforts in emerging markets. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing category sourcing strategies that drive cost savings and improve productivity.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish category sourcing strategies and negotiate contracts with suppliers to optimize Amazon's competitive position.
- Drive relationships with category suppliers to achieve optimal solutions and costs of ownership that meet business goals.
- Manage category suppliers to proactively identify, monitor, and optimize opportunities.
- Act as a market intelligence provider regarding categories and anticipate strategic opportunities.
- Drive category suppliers in Supplier Relationship Management activities to mitigate risk, improve performance, and add value to Amazon.
- Identify, achieve, and report on savings and value targets for category sourcing activities.
- Align with internal customers and understand the business application of the category.

Requirements
- Completed Bachelor's Degree.
- Fluent in Spanish and English (C1+).
- 7+ years of experience in indirect or direct sourcing categories.
- Solid experience in ERP Systems (Oracle, Coupa, SAP, MS tool suite).
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, Operations, Analytics, or related field.
- 2+ years of practiced analytical skills including the ability to distill, synthesize, and draw conclusions on large amounts of data.
- Lean/Six-Sigma knowledge.
- Product Management/Retail Vendor management experience.
- Management experience.
What We Offer
An estimated salary range of $80,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for growth and development in a dynamic and innovative company.
