Job Summary

The Business Intermediate Analyst is a key role within our organization, responsible for driving process improvements and ensuring the effective operation of our derivatives oversight control model. This position requires a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently to identify and implement efficiency opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and analyze opportunities for process improvements within the derivatives oversight control model, with a focus on multi-client and multi-location efficiency.
  • Liaise with global counterparts to share best practices, solutions, and knowledge, ensuring consistent application of process enhancements.
  • Investigate, analyze, and develop target operating models for new initiatives that add clients or services to the Fund Accounting platform from a valuations perspective.
  • Design, test, and implement solutions to enhance the Derivatives and Derivatives Oversight Operating Model, ensuring effective adoption and minimal disruption to operations.
  • Provide regular project status reports and functional roadmaps to senior management, ensuring transparency and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Monitor Multifonds functionality and assess impact on Derivatives production and oversight operating models, ensuring seamless integration and minimal risk.
  • Assess risk and make informed business decisions, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citibanamex, its clients, and assets.
Requirements
  • 2-5 years of experience in a related field, with a strong background in derivatives products and assurance/asset management clients.
  • Subject matter expertise in derivatives products, with a focus on Multifonds, fund accounting, and presentation skills.
  • Excellent analytical skills, particularly around requirements gathering, documentation, and data interrogation.
  • Effective communication and diplomacy skills, with the ability to exchange complex and sensitive information.
  • Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience, with a focus on business administration, finance, or a related field.
