About This Role

Molex is seeking a sales development manager to lead a team of sales professionals responsible for selling and promoting interconnect solutions to customers in the Americas. This role will drive growth within the targeted Americas region and support the supply chain channel accounts for our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales and Promotion
    • Develop and execute sales strategies to promote Molex products to customers in the Americas.
    • Meet or exceed account growth targets concerning profit and project pipeline.
  • Team Management
    • Manage a team of 5 direct-report team members and align their roles and responsibilities with the sales plan.
  • Customer Relationships
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to identify upsell opportunities and resolve conflicts.

Qualifications

Molex is seeking candidates who have experience in relevant sales/account management experience within the industry. They should also have experience managing a sales/account manager team and sales management experience at a systems-level supplier. Additionally, they should have experience selling products or services with a focus on interconnect and networking solutions and knowledge of supply chain optimization.
