We design, manufacture, and install heavy industrial equipment such as juice extractors, filling machines, high pressure processors, sterilizers, tanks, and vessels. Our products are used in various industries, including food processing, beverage manufacturing, and aviation support.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team in Mexico. This individual will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing our equipment, requiring a high level of mechanical, automation, and food processing experience.

To be successful in this position, you will need to:

  • Provide basic and advanced training to customers and internal teams.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment problems, making appropriate repairs or recommendations.
  • Provide emergency or unscheduled repairs of equipment; be available for customer care at short notice.
  • Perform regular preventive maintenance on equipment with client coordination.
  • Provide advisory services during equipment install, service, and repair visits.
  • Coordinate contractor work at customer sites.
  • Read and interpret equipment manuals for maintenance and service.
  • Read and interpret electrical and mechanical CAD drawings, P&ID's, and flow schemes.
  • Accurately prepare and submit inspection reports, service reports, time sheets, and expense reports weekly.
  • Inspect assembled equipment for proper installation and operation.
  • Maintain inspection records of equipment and assess trends.
  • Recommend equipment modifications and advise clients on replacement part orders.
  • Interact professionally with customers regarding commissioning status.
  • Respond to customer service, emergency, and breakdown calls during business hours.
  • Provide technical expertise for running bottle and machine validations through regulatory authorities.
  • Troubleshoot problems at customer sites during installation and commissioning.
  • This position is considered safety sensitive and may be subjected to randomized drug testing.
Travel Requirements
  • Approximately 80%
Required Qualifications
  • Advanced electrical and mechanical skills, minimum 5 years of experience.
  • 2-year degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Production Engineering, or technical degree.
  • Proficient personal computer skills including recordkeeping, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheets, etc.
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally, 80% or more.
  • Driver's license.
  • Five or more years of experience in installation, repair, maintenance of processing, filling, or similar equipment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Automation experience.
  • Aseptics experience.
  • Experience in PLC troubleshooting with Siemens, Allen Bradley, etc.
