We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Field Service Engineer to join our team at Siemens Energy. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating the maintenance and repairs of electrical generators at various customer sites.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and direct field services, winders, and subcontractors to perform necessary tasks to serve the equipment.
- Ensure quality and technical procedures are followed during maintenance and repairs.
- Communicate status and lessons-learned to the back-office engineering and management on a consistent basis.
- Develop teams of winders technicians and craft labor personnel in the installation, repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical generators.
- Provide generator and generator interface knowledge and expertise to generator engineering, customer management, product line management, and suppliers.
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Professional Experience (4+ years) as an Electrical field service engineer.
- Technical Knowledge on electrical generator inspection, testing, generator rewinds, repairs, and maintenance of their associated auxiliary systems.
- Good verbal communication skills with the ability to fluently speak, write, and read in English, at professional working proficiency level.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 80% of time (sometimes at little or short notice).
