Job Summary:

The Business Development Manager is a key role within Citi's Consumer Sales team, responsible for driving business growth and revenue through strategic planning and execution. This role requires a strong understanding of the financial services industry, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement daily market updates and trading strategic plans for clients and individual sales staff.
  • Provide guidance to customers by identifying financial gaps in their current wealth or asset allocation and introducing suitable products.
  • Communicate banking products through daily interactions, enhancing product knowledge and sales techniques among branch colleagues.
  • Work with Branch Managers to set plans to meet financial commitments and drive bankers to meet team goals.
  • Maintain and manage good relationships with customers, ensuring a consistent and superior banking experience.
  • Assess risk when making business decisions, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets.

Qualifications:

  • Previous banking experience is preferred.
  • Education: Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience.
