Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Guest Service Agent to join our team at JW Marriott Cancun Resort & Spa. As a key member of our Front Desk team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences and ensuring seamless check-in and check-out processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process guest check-ins by confirming reservations, assigning rooms, and issuing room keys.
  • Manage all payment types, including room charges, cash, checks, debit, and credit.
  • Process check-outs, resolving any late or disputed charges.
  • Respond to guest calls, messages, requests, questions, and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Coordinate with Housekeeping to track room readiness for check-in.
  • Communicate parking procedures to guests and dispatch bell staff or valet staff as needed.
  • Supply guests with directions and information regarding property and local areas of interest.
  • Run daily reports, identify special requests, and check reports for accuracy.
  • Complete designated cashier and closing reports in the computer system.
  • Cash guests' personal checks and traveler's checks.
  • Count bank at the beginning and end of shift.
  • Balance and drop receipts according to Accounting specifications.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
  • No related work experience required.
  • No supervisory experience required.
  • No license or certification required.
