The Opportunity:

Avantor is looking for dedicated professionals to fill the role of Customer Service Representative. This position is located onsite in a global setting, providing opportunities for career growth and development.

This is an intermediate-level position that requires answering routine questions and issues from external or internal customers. Escalate more complex customer complaints or issues to senior representatives.

The working hours for this position will be adjusted as follows:

  • 8:00am-5:00pm CST (10:00am-6:00pm EDT)
  • 9:00am-6:00pm CST (11:00am-8:00pm EDT)

Key qualifications include a background in Customer Service or Customer Support, with 1-3 years of applicable experience in a customer relationship type role. The ideal candidate must be bilingual in English & Spanish, with strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintains and attracts potential customers by handling inbound sales and customer communication.
  • Handles inbound sales and customer communication in the processing, expediting, and troubleshooting of customer orders.
  • Owns the customer request and experience from initiation to conclusion.
  • Processes, via computer, all customer requests.
  • Resolves customer issues, expedites back orders, handles requests for returns and other special requests.
  • Follows up with Sales Department, suppliers, and customers on any outstanding issues.
