Logistics Coordinator

Job Summary:

Charger Logistics Inc. is a world-class asset-based carrier seeking a dynamic Logistics Coordinator to join our fast-paced Customer Service team. As a Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing logistics operations, and ensuring seamless delivery schedules.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service: Communicate with customers to resolve queries and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  • Logistics Operations: Track and trace customer orders, enter and update orders on various interfaces, and ensure accurate and timely documentation.
  • Delivery Schedules: Ensure daily delivery schedules are met, and all necessary documentation is returned to head office in a timely manner.
  • Client Complaints: Handle client complaints, provide solutions and alternatives, and follow up to ensure resolution.
  • Freight Management: Communicate specific freight requirements and procedures to drivers and ensure customers are well informed.
  • Problem Resolution: Research and resolve transactional problems to ensure reporting is reconciled in a timely manner.
  • Team Collaboration: Maintain co-operative working relationships among team and internal staff.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of sales and account management experience in the transportation and logistics field is preferred.
  • Recent college or university degree in Marketing or Business-related field is required.
  • Previous experience in an analyst role and/or in pricing function is an asset.
  • Ability to understand business processing requirements using technology and conceptualize creative solutions.
  • Experience working B2B sales involving complex deals is an asset.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of the sales planning process.
  • Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills & strong interpersonal and customer relation skills.
  • Strong negotiation skills with proven closing ability.
  • Ability to function independently with little or no supervision as well as function in a team environment.
