About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Oracle Fusion ERP Functional Consultant to join our team at Syncreon Consulting. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality Oracle Cloud ERP Finance solutions to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Process Improvement: Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand, define, and/or improve business process and system flows for Oracle Cloud.
  • Solution Delivery: Support the solution delivery lifecycle, including detailing features and collaborating with IT developers, vendors, and implementation teams.
  • Functional SME: Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs and provide solutions, working with technical teams.
  • System Architecture: Create and maintain system architecture, data flow, and other technical artifacts, working closely with domain architects and other technology teams for existing and new solutions.
  • Change Management: Participate in the Change Management process for the applications.
  • Training and Documentation: Provide training to end users and/or other IT personnel and review current documentation for the applications, updating as appropriate.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate closely with the wider technology teams to coordinate interdependencies and resolve issues, understanding overlaps of teams and applications.
  • Support and Improvement: Involved with support activities for existing solutions, including regular business interactions, and facilitating delivery of improvements and bug fixes as required.
  • Functional Specification: Ability to write functional specification documents pertaining to Oracle Cloud ERP Finance tasks.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or relevant equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 6+ years of experience in IT or finance/accounting directly using Oracle (Fusion) Cloud ERP.
  • Oracle Cloud ERP Finance: Sound knowledge of core Oracle (Fusion) Cloud ERP Finance modules – AP, Expenses, AHCS, GL, FA, AR, Advanced Collections.
  • Design and Implementation: 4+ years' experience working with design and implementation of Oracle (Fusion) Cloud ERP financial modules. EPM is a plus.
  • ADO and Configuration: Experience translating business needs into system requirements and configurations using ADO.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Good communication skills with any type of audience, internal (all levels)/external (to include vendors – Sales/Technology).
  • Tools and Technologies: Experience in Lucid chart, Confluence, ADO, and familiar with Agile methodologies and Project Management processes.
  • Software Development and Implementation: Hands-on software development and/or implementation experience preferred.
  • Test Cases and UAT: Experience with writing test cases and performing UAT.
  • Tableau and Power BI: Experience of Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools preferred.
  • Functional and Technical Requirements: 4+ years of experience writing functional and/or technical requirements for software implementations.
  • Active Directory and Security: Familiar with Active Directory, Security Groups, and Service Accounts.
  • Cloud Experience: MS Azure and other cloud experience preferred.
