**About the Role**

As a key member of the Air Canada team, you will play a vital role in supporting the Director of Sales in maintaining a well-functioning regional sales agenda. This position requires a dynamic, well-organized individual with strong interpersonal skills to ensure the high standards of Air Canada are upheld.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Provide administrative assistance to the Director of Sales, including handling routine and confidential matters, such as agendas, follow-ups, and correspondence.
  • Coordinate and prepare reports, agendas, and other materials for sales meetings and presentations, as well as arrange travel requirements.
  • Prepare minutes for meetings and coordinate several aspects of regional budgets.
  • Manage correspondence, including with high-level authorities in the region, and coordinate customer relations case management.
  • Monitor monthly expense reports and reconcile expense accounts, and interface with Winnipeg Finance for all BCC/invoice-related expenses.
  • Maintain and replenish department supplies, while being accountable for expense control related to department budget.
  • Act as a key liaison for external vendors and suppliers, and maintain/update manuals and documents.
  • Establish and maintain a filing and follow-up system, and manage the correct functioning of the office in coordination with other departments.
  • Support departmental required projects, and coordinate the employee recognition program.

**Requirements**

  • Strong organizational skills, discipline, and self-motivation.
  • Excellent communication skills in Spanish and English, with French being highly regarded.
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills, with a high degree of diplomacy, discretion, maturity, and judgment.
  • Ability to work extended hours on occasion, with strong personal initiative and the ability to work in a confidential capacity with little or no supervision.
  • Good knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, with AMADEUS GDS knowledge being a plus.
