Key Responsibilities

As a Regional Sales Manager at Johnson Controls, you will be responsible for managing our existing sales pipeline and developing new business opportunities in high-potential vertical markets. This includes developing and executing strategies to position new products and cloud services in the regional market, taking a lead role in proposal and presentation development, and identifying trends and customer needs to build a short/medium/long-term sales pipeline in accordance with targets.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Your daily and monthly responsibilities will include monitoring and evaluating industry trends, managing proposal response processes, generating new leads, and developing and implementing overarching outbound sales and business development strategies. You will also support deal structure and pricing with business value analysis, negotiate prices for proactive bids and proposals, and maintain and share professional knowledge through education, networking, events, and presentations.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need a degree in electronic/electrical/industrial engineering or business administration, a successful track record in B2B sales and negotiation, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and working experience with sales techniques. You should also have proficiency with data analysis, forecasting, and budgeting, proven ability to plan and manage resources, and experience with CRM software.
