Job Summary

The Logistics Dispatcher plays a crucial role in coordinating the timely and efficient movement of goods, vehicles, and personnel to ensure smooth operations within the logistics department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Obtain rates for specific freight movements
  • Communicate with drivers, brokers, and clients to ensure seamless logistics operations
  • Develop efficient and cost-effective transportation routes for drivers to ensure timely delivery of goods
  • Work to resolve problems such as traffic delays, vehicle breakdowns, and other unforeseen circumstances
  • Organize client paperwork and contracts, negotiate with clients as needed
  • Build strong relationships with key clients and ensure timely follow-up

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, sales, or a related field
  • Desirable experience as a Logistics Dispatcher or previous experience in customer service or call center
  • Familiarity with CRM
  • Intermediate or advanced English level
  • Ability to handle multiple phone calls
