We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at TD SYNNEX. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for expanding our presence in the defined multi-state geographic territory and growing profitable market share for TD SYNNEX.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a business development/territory sales plan that delivers strategic and financial results for the company.
  • Expand TD SYNNEX's presence and market share in the defined SMB BDM geographical territory.
  • Identify sales opportunities independently and through a collaborative effort with TD SYNNEX team members, vendor partner communication, and the business partner community.
  • Conduct a minimum of 10 onsite customer meetings and 3 local vendor partner engagements per week that are business development results-oriented.
  • Introduce and successfully position TD value-add services.
  • Identify sales opportunities within new and existing SMB accounts.
  • Utilize business partner relationships, financial analysis/data, and market knowledge to penetrate new accounts, close new business, and grow customer base.
  • Manage customer expectations through professional communication, advancing objectives, and mutual sales results.
  • Proven ability to consistently meet and exceed sales results quarter over quarter.
  • Resolve and/or refer customer challenges to the appropriate departments when applicable.
  • Develop and maintain a solid understanding of reseller's business model.
  • Demonstrate general awareness of overall territorial opportunities through routine interactions with business and vendor partners.
  • Display proven leadership skills with the ability to provide guidance, direction, support, and coaching to the inside sales team members, customer, and peers.
  • Investigate and develop a case for penetration into new accounts.
  • Identify stakeholders for current business, fostering positive and frequent communication.
  • Develop and maintain influential business partner relationships with an effort to produce and maintain a collaborative relationship.

Requirements:

  • 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience.
  • Some College required.
  • Industry certifications a plus.
