Director of Sales Planning

About the Role:
The Director Planning AD Sales will lead the Planner's team, responsible for managing TV Distribution (Linear, SVOD, AVOD) & Home Entertainment (TVOD, PPV) businesses in Mexico, with direct sales responsibility and growth of the market. This role will also be responsible for business and planning development activity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the strategy 'Sales Administration' process within the sales support team.
- Develop and implement specific sales strategies to support staff - 'Sales Sr. Mgr, Asst. Mgr and Sales Co-ordinator'.
- Lead the Long Range Plan, Mid-Year-Forecast and Year-End-Forecast Budgeting and Planning projects (SMART interface).
- Monitor, analyze and coordinate yearly / 5 yearly sales budgets and projections.
- Liaise with International WBD staff to ensure accurate sales data.
- Analyze revenue statistics and data to gather insights to build sales strategies.
- Interpret sales trends.
- Train staff in interpretation and analysis of database system, report creation, data entry, manipulation and matching data to reflect actual and forecast sales.
- Manage and maintain direct and mutually supportive relationships with the Executive Sales Team, along with the Marketing, Technical and Distribution Departments.
- Client database management and review.
- Lead the planner's team.
- Develop and provide service and build proposals based on business opportunities.
- Achieve the optimization of our portfolio.
- Build strategic commercial proposals (client/agencies).
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree.
- Advanced English.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and related databases for sales forecasting, analytical tools and research/statistics, to create PowerPoint deck for business purposes.
- Minimum 12 years of experience in media and entertainment industry.
- Minimum 8 years team management.
- Knowledge of international media, online and wireless business.
- Knowledge of planning tools.
