Maintenance Director

The Maintenance Director leads a team of employees in maintenance, automation engineering, and general stores. This role ensures critical metrics are met, coordinating activities between different areas, aligned with company goals, strategy, values, and principles.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Promote and ensure employee integrity through security tools implemented in the organization.
  • Work with other sites to maintain collaboration and share good practices.
  • Ensure compliance with quality and safety standards (Product safety, QA Handbook, IMS, OHSAS 18001, ISO 14001 & ISO 9001).
  • Ensure production plan fulfillment, improving and optimizing resources and producing in sequence.
  • Follow up and comply with area critical metrics.
  • Deploy business strategy in their group.
  • Execute HR processes (IDP, Merit, PRP).
  • Identify competences needs of team members.
  • Continuous training, feedback, monitoring, evaluation, and support to Managers, Engineers, and Specialists in their area of responsibility.
  • Lead continuous improvement programs (CI tools) in TPM context.
  • Ensure the LEGO Production team meets reliability requirements and product quality by securing best equipment performance.
  • Run maintenance and general stores budget.
  • People Leader responsible for coordinating technical staff according to company policies.
  • Set a clear path to follow regarding Safety, Quality, Deliver, and Cost.
  • Set clear goals and important metrics to maintenance area to achieve molding business unit results.
  • Lead the team responsible for equipment installation in North America.
  • Manage General Stores and Spare parts warehouse.
  • Set short, mid, and long-term strategy for maintenance area.
  • Active member of an Operations Leadership Team, responsible for manufacturing area success.

About You:

  • Experience as Operations Leader (Director/Senior Manager) or related with at least 4 years, leading administrative, operational, and technical employees.
  • Worked in a mature TPM environment.
  • Education: Mechanical Engineer, Industrial Engineer, or related preferred. Master is not required but considered a plus.
  • Knowledge: TPM, Lean Manufacturing, Engineering, Warehouse, and Inventory management.
  • Skills: Business English.
