About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team at Warner Bros. Discovery. As a key member of our Procure to Pay workstream, you will be responsible for maintaining PTP processes, ensuring Sox compliance, and providing updates/reporting of overall Procure to Pay Operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders while adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Support PTP processes to ensure operational success, including vendor creation, invoice matching, and routing.
  • Communicate complex issues and handle difficult customer requests to maximize productivity and payment resolution.
  • Handle escalated and time-sensitive requests for PTP activity.
  • Produce PTP reporting to support operational needs.
  • Reconcile PTP integrations as needed.
  • Support integration and onboarding of new acquisitions into Warner Bros. Discovery processes and systems.
  • Ensure SOX compliance by monitoring PTP activity and being knowledgeable of cross-functional processes within all PTP applications.
  • Support PTP system changes, improvements, and new company codes created with testing as required and support new business projects, acquisitions, and integrations where needed.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or related field is preferred.
  • Experience in Peoplesoft Financials and SAP is required.
  • Experience in the Media Industry and/or Media Sales is preferred.
  • A working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Strong independent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to self-manage to meet competing deliverables.
  • Strong listening, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently, creatively, and efficiently.
