Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and goal-oriented Sales Representative to join our team at Oru Kayak. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for driving sales growth by:

  • Building and maintaining relationships with retailers
  • Attending trade shows and industry events
  • Conducting cold calls to identify and qualify potential retailers and customers
  • Closing new deals

This role requires frequent travel to visit retailers and represent Oru Kayak at various events.

Responsibilities

As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for:

  • Cold Calling and Lead Generation: Conduct cold calls to identify and qualify potential retailers and customers. Introduce Oru Kayak's products and services, highlighting key features and benefits.
  • Sales Target Achievement: Achieve set sales targets. Monitor sales performance, analyze data, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Product and Industry Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with Oru Kayak's product offerings, features, and specifications.
  • Sales Reporting and Analysis: Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales records, including customer information, sales activities, and pipeline management.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Fluent English (Verbal and Written)
  • Visa and Ability to travel frequently to visit retailers, attend trade shows, and industry events
  • B2B Sales Experience preferably in a similar role or within the outdoor industry
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills to secure new deals
  • Self-motivated and target-driven, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
