About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Support Engineer to join our team at Amazon Web Services Mexico S. de R.L. de C.V. - C68. As a Cloud Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our customers, troubleshooting complex issues, and collaborating with internal teams to improve our services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support to customers via various contact channels, including telephone, email, and web/live chat.
  • Apply advanced troubleshooting techniques to resolve complex issues and work with customers to identify root causes.
  • Drive initiatives to improve support-related processes and customer experience, including creating tutorials, how-to videos, and technical articles.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to provide feedback on how to improve our services and work on critical, complex customer problems.
  • Continuously learn and develop new technical skills and professional competencies.
  • Act as an interviewer in hiring processes and coach/mentor new team members.

Requirements
  • 1+ year of experience with troubleshooting database concepts, database administration, data warehousing, Business Intelligence (BI) issues, and/or Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL).
  • Knowledge or experience with system administration, troubleshooting operating systems (Linux and/or Windows), and networking.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English (written and spoken) within technical and business settings.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Knowledge or experience with distributed search, conceptual search understanding, text parsing analysis, tokenization, databases vs search services, data skew, fault tolerance, and cloud computing concepts.
  • Experience scripting or developing in one or more of the following languages: UNIX Shell, Python, R, Ruby, GO, Java,.NET (C#), JavaScript.
