Claims Customer Care Representative

We are seeking a highly skilled Claims Customer Care Representative to join our team at Allstate. As a Claims Customer Care Representative, you will serve as the initial point of contact for basic claims reporting, guiding callers to the appropriate party based on their needs and policy or claim requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Receive and screen incoming telephone calls and electronic correspondence, routing them to the appropriate party as needed.
- Establish and maintain relationships with customers and claim-related third parties to obtain and provide necessary file information.
- Follow established guidelines for each claim report or inquiry, ensuring accurate and efficient processing.
- Perform various clerical duties, including data entry, filing, and word processing, to support the claims process.
- Handle claim files, including locating, requesting, and filing paperwork, as well as reconstructing missing files and moving misfiled documents.
- Retrieve, print, and mail supporting documentation to vendors or other parties as directed.
- Take first notice of loss claims, explain the basic claim process, and provide general information to customers.
- High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- 0-2 years of experience in a related field is preferred.
