Service Desk Agent

We are seeking a highly skilled Service Desk Agent to join our team at Cognizant. In this role, you will play a critical part in delivering exceptional client support and ensuring seamless interactions with our clients.
As a Service Desk Agent, your primary responsibility will be to handle inbound calls in a timely manner, following communication scripts and using your knowledge of our company's products and services to provide accurate solutions. You will identify customer needs, research issues, resolve complaints, and maintain ownership of calls throughout the lifecycle of a caller's request.
Your key objectives will include:
- Handling inbound calls efficiently and effectively
- Following communication scripts and using product knowledge to provide accurate solutions
- Identifying customer needs, researching issues, and resolving complaints
- Maintaining ownership of calls throughout the lifecycle of a caller's request
In addition to these responsibilities, you will also be expected to:
- Memorize scripts for products and services, referring to them during calls as needed
- Build positive relationships with clients by going above and beyond with customer service
- Meet daily qualitative and quantitative targets for yourself and achieve all objectives for service, productivity, and quality
- Create and maintain records of daily contacts in our ticketing system
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- Experience working in a call center or customer-support role (desirable)
- Strong active-listening and verbal-communication skills
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
- Willingness to learn fast IT support
- Advanced language skills in Portuguese
