Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Parts Advisor, Collision Parts Operations to join our team at Tesla. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth delivery of parts to our body shops and dealerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Effectively communicate estimated parts shipment and arrival times to our body shops and dealerships.
- Provide technical support and assistance to our body shops and dealerships on parts-related queries.
- Work closely with our internal teams to improve processes and provide feedback to enhance our parts delivery experience.
- Accurately record parts transactions and data into our Dealer Management System, requiring attention to detail and accuracy.
- Prioritize and efficiently manage a high volume of work, meeting deadlines and maintaining daily metric goals.
- Perform other duties as needed to support the success of our operations team.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience in the automotive industry, preferably in a parts or operations role.
- Degree or Certificate from a University program in Automotive Technology is a plus.
- Knowledge of methods, techniques, parts, tools, and materials used in the repair of vehicles.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with strong organization skills, problem-solving aptitude, and attention to detail.
- Ability to adhere to performance metrics, including CSI and department goals.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Enovia, CATIA, CAD, or other PLM system experience is a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to follow instructions.
- English language proficiency is preferred.
- Dealer automotive service experience is a plus.
