**Role Overview**:
The Pricing Director will lead the development and execution of pricing strategies that maximize profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction for Yonder Media Mobile. This role requires a deep understanding of the telecommunications industry, competitive landscape, consumer behavior, and eSIM technology.
**Key Responsibilities:**
**Strategic Leadership:**
Develop and implement comprehensive pricing strategies for Yonder Media Mobile's product and service offerings, ensuring alignment with the company's goals and market conditions.
**Market and Competitive Analysis:**
Conduct thorough market research to understand industry trends, customer preferences, and competitive pricing, utilizing market intelligence to forecast pricing trends and prepare the organization for future pricing challenges and opportunities.
**Pricing Strategy Development:**
Create and refine pricing models and strategies for new and existing services, ensuring competitiveness and profitability, and evaluate and optimize pricing strategies through continuous monitoring and analysis of performance metrics.
**Revenue and Profit Optimization:**
Identify opportunities for revenue growth and margin improvement through strategic pricing adjustments, and implement dynamic pricing strategies and promotional offers to maximize revenue and customer acquisition.
**Cross-Functional Collaboration:**
Work closely with sales, marketing, finance, and product teams to ensure pricing strategies support overall business objectives, and collaborate with product development teams to understand product lifecycles and influence pricing decisions.
**Team Leadership and Development:**
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing pricing team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development within the pricing team.
**Regulatory Compliance:**
Ensure pricing strategies comply with telecommunications regulations and industry standards, and stay updated on regulatory changes and assess their impact on pricing and business operations.
**Expertise in Payment Gateways:**
Develop pricing strategies that incorporate the costs and benefits of various payment gateway options, and collaborate with IT and finance teams to integrate pricing strategies with payment gateway solutions, ensuring seamless customer experiences and optimal revenue collection.
**eSIM Technology:**
Understand the impact of eSIM technology on pricing models, customer acquisition, and retention strategies, and develop and implement pricing strategies for eSIM-enabled products and services.
**Qualifications:**
Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, telecommunications, or a related field; an MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
Extensive experience in pricing strategy, market analysis, and revenue management within the telecommunications industry, preferably in an MVNO environment.
Proven leadership experience in a senior pricing role, with a track record of developing and implementing successful pricing strategies.
Strong analytical skills and proficiency in statistical analysis, financial modeling, and data visualization tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau).
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
Deep understanding of telecommunications market dynamics, customer segmentation, and competitive analysis.
Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing pricing challenges and opportunities.
