Job Summary
As a Customer Operations Order Management Specialist at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, you will play a crucial role in supporting the US Customer Operations Indirect team. This position requires strong communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to partner with various functions and organizations to resolve issues and meet customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities
• Acts as a first point of contact for regular, ongoing customer accounts and some top-tier customers on daily operational matters.
• Ensures orders are executed to meet service level agreements and supply chain requirements to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
• Resolves operational issues that may arise from the end-to-end sales process, such as order status, returns, deliveries, and invoicing.
• Engages with other functions and organizations to resolve issues, such as sales teams, supply chain, and logistics.
• Acts as a point of contact for specialized topics, such as order management and special pricing, and trains team members.
• Contributes to efforts to optimize current processes, often collaborating with other groups within HP.
• Represents the team as a subject matter expert on internal processes to other functions and organizations.
• Accountable for order execution and backlog management; orders are processed effectively and efficiently.
Requirements
• First-level university degree or equivalent experience.
• Typically, 2-4 years of related experience in supply chain, customer service, procurement, or financial management.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to convey medium impact messages clearly (verbal, written, and presentation).
• Intermediate understanding of moderately complex internal operational issues.
• Advanced MS Excel knowledge is required.
• Developed problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Broad knowledge of the end-to-end process of Supply Chain operations.
• Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration skills.
• Ability to structure and apply developed organizational skills to manage daily operational issues.
