Job Title: Sales Manager

Job Type: Contract

Location: Remote

Fixed with variable payment.

JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for driving DGN acceptance growth, through a direct to merchant sales approach, in key verticals within Mexico. The role involves building and maintaining a robust pipeline of new sales opportunities, engagement with merchants to drive DGN acceptance, and collaboration with internal stakeholders to ensure the sales cycle is completed & is delivering key KPI's in acceptance.

Actively manages and escalates risk and customer-impacting issues within the day-to-day role to management.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identifies leads, develops proposals, responds to RFP's and negotiates agreements to Mexico merchants, to maximize network acceptance. Strong negotiation skills to close deals.

  • Strategically identifies and creates innovative business cases to win new merchant acceptance deals with internal stakeholder buy-in (Pricing, Risk, AML, etc...).

  • Collaborate with internal teams and gather feedback from customers or prospects to identify, develop, and implement new sales opportunities.

  • Develop strong relationships to maintain and grow account relationships with internal and external partners to meet volume and revenue goals.

  • Participate in industry exhibitions and conferences.

WORK EXPERIENCE

  • 10+ years of sales experience within the Vertical Assigned (Airline, Hotels, Retail, Restaurant, Transportation, Travel Agencies, and Attractions), business development, contacts and connections.

  • 5+ years of Payments industry Sales/business development experience, relationship management, strategy, operations, project management, planning, finance, consultative skills with proven experience building deep and influential relationships with key stakeholders, executive level clients and internal business partners.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal in Spanish and English. Strong executive presence.

  • Experience dealing and interacting with C-level and decision makers to close deal

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in business, finance, management

  • Fluent in Spanish and ability to communicate (write, read, and speak) in English

  • Ability to travel upto 40% of the time domestically

  • Ability to travel internationally (IF REQUIRED)
