YOUR ROLE

As Purchasing Supervisor Category our team, you will: Purchasing direct materials. Obtaining quotes, selecting suppliers, and making final recommendations. Generating savings to meet targets. Generating purchase orders. Providing general sales support.

In your daily job, you will:

• Lead the group in all its responsibilities and support other groups/areas.

• Lead negotiations with suppliers.

• Lead the search for savings opportunities and projects:

• Materials analysis ii. Supply chain analysis

• Analysis of economic factors in the industry

• Achieve savings goals for all assigned desks.

• Improve commercial terms such as: Payment terms

• Payment upon receipt

• Monthly payment iv. Incoterms

• Transfer titles, etc. f. Localization within the region.

• Timely supplier selection process.

• Coordinate/Support business transfers between Aptiv plants

• Prevent supplier delivery interruptions

• Supplier location changes.

• Update multiple reports and presentations (supplier, category, etc.).

• Comply with purchasing policies and procedures, and in interactions with other departments.

• Supervise assigned staff group p. Lead initiatives for assigned categories

YOUR BACKGROUND

• University degree in business, engineering, or a related supply chain field. English proficiency at an 80% level.

• Mandatory experience: Strategic Purchasing

• Minimum 5 years of experience in strategic purchasing (sourcing buyer) most

• Leader in supplier negotiation.

• Computer skills and knowledge: i. Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).

• Knowledge SAP.
