What's exciting about the role

As a Customer Success Specialist, you will play a role in defining and evolving Verifone's POS products and payment solutions for Mexico and Central America, with opportunities to support other LATAM markets. This position offers:

  • Ownership of product strategy and roadmap for a diverse portfolio of payment solutions.
  • Direct engagement with strategic customers to influence product development and roadmaps.
  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including sales, engineering, and global product teams.
  • A chance to become the go-to product expert for the region, driving innovation and customer success.

Responsibilities

Strategy & Roadmap

  • Define and evolve the POS product and solution for payments and value-added services for Mexico and Central America.
  • Identify customer pain points and market opportunities across in-store, omnichannel, and eCommerce environments.
  • Translate high-level business goals into product strategies, epics, and detailed feature roadmaps.
  • Build a deeper understanding of the customer and partner eco-system of Verifone in how they integrate and use Verifone's products and services teams.
  • Work with the cross functional leads to influence development of payment application (e.g., semi-integrated, Android app frameworks, app marketplaces).
  • Own features needed from a differentiation and market/customer needs and manage its execution with the development teams in Gateway and Acquiring.

Cross-Functional Execution

  • Work with local sales managers and regional leadership on modeling product roadmap strategy.
  • Work with POS/Services product team to determine best paths to integration and balance new service needs with core product needs.

Partner and Customer Enablement

  • Engage with strategic customers to gather feedback and influence roadmaps.
  • Present product plans and updates to senior leadership, customers, and external stakeholders

Skills and Experience we desire

  • 5+ years of experience in product management, preferably in POS ecosystem, card acquiring and partner integration.
  • Demonstrated success managing complex, cross-functional products in challenging unique vertical.
  • Deep understanding of payment processing flows.
  • Strong communication, prioritization, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Commercial and go to market motions based on each customer segment and establish process for data driven decisions
  • Fluent in Spanish and English.
  • Advantageous:
  • Experience with merchant acquirers, payment facilitation, or payment orchestration providers.
  • Background in product lifecycle management (PLM) or hardware/software commercialization.
  • Engineering degree preferred.
