Position Overview
We are looking for a Sales Engineer to join our team to drive B2B growth in Mexico City (CDMX). This role is designed for a dynamic professional who will act as a strategic partner to corporate clients, bridging the gap between technical requirements and business objectives, you will lead consultative sales processes for AIDC market and technology solutions.
Educational Background
- Bachelor's degree in engineering is highly preferred (Industrial, Systems, Mechatronics, Electronics, or Computer Science).
- Business or Marketing degrees are acceptable only if accompanied by a demonstrated passion for technology and technical aptitude.
Professional Experience Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of professional experience. We are looking for a candidate in the acceleration phase of their career.
- Proven experience in Technical Sales, Pre-Sales, or as a Sales Engineer.
- Strong familiarity with hardware/software integration, connectivity (Wi-Fi/Bluetooth/5G), and Android operating systems.
- Previous exposure to the AIDC market is desirable but not mandatory. However, a strong ability to learn new technologies quickly is required.
- Professional Spanish proficiency; Proficient in English (able to understand technical documentation and communicate internally).
- A plus some experience with WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) or ERP integrations.
- A plus previous experience with channel partners or ISV's in the Mexican market.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute a consultative sales strategy, focusing on solving operational pain points rather than transactional selling.
- Navigate complex decision-making units, building relationships with key stakeholders (IT Directors, Operations Managers, and Procurement).
- Participate in B2B industry forums and networking events to generate high-quality leads.
- Act as a technical advisor to clients, moving beyond traditional selling to provide consultative solutions.
- Master the technical details of our portfolio (Handhelds, Scanners, RFID, Tablets) to conduct high-impact product demonstrations and Proofs of Concept (PoC).
- Translate complex technical features into tangible business value for clients.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure proposed solutions are technically viable and scalable.
