About The Opportunity

The Business Development Manager (BDM) for Events has a strategic role focused on driving growth and expanding the organization's presence within the events industry. Reporting to Senior BDM Mex and LATAM, the BDM will lead the initiatives to create, promote, and execute various types of events, including corporate meetings, conferences, trade shows, and special engagements.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategies to identify and capitalize on business opportunities within the events sector to achieve revenue and market share goals.

    • Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing clients, understanding their needs, and delivering tailored event solutions.
    • Market Analysis: Research and analyze industry trends, competitive landscape, and client preferences to inform event strategies and offerings.
    • Event Coordination: Oversee the planning and execution of events, ensuring alignment with client objectives, brand standards, and budgetary constraints.
    • Team Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, sales, and operations teams to ensure a cohesive approach to event promotion and delivery
    • Performance Measurement: Track event success metrics, gather feedback from clients and attendees, and provide insights for continuous improvement

Experience & Qualifications

  • The BDM role is the combination of practical experience, technical skills, and interpersonal traits will cover:

    Experience in Event Management:

    Proven track record in organizing and managing successful events, including corporate events, conferences, and exhibitions.

    Strong Sales Acumen:

    Demonstrated ability to identify business opportunities and close sales, coupled with experience in creating and implementing sales strategies tailored for the events sector.

    Excellent Communication Skills:
