Compensation: $25,000–$28,000 USD per year
Schedule: Full-Time with availability for guest communication (including evenings/weekends as needed)

We are a rapidly growing real estate investment company operating a portfolio of short-term rentals (Airbnb), long-term rentals, and a private residence in Maryland, USA. We currently manage 7 properties and are actively acquiring more.

Position Overview
We are hiring a Remote Property Operations & Guest Experience Manager to serve as the central hub for communication, scheduling, accountability, and daily operations across our rental portfolio.
This role is responsible for guest and tenant communication, answering customer support calls, managing maintenance schedules, marketing properties to increase bookings, and holding the on-the-ground Property Operations Technician accountable day to day.
This is a remote, desk-based role that requires excellent spoken and written English, strong organization, and confidence managing people and processes.
Key ResponsibilitiesGuest & Customer Support (Phone + Messaging)
- Answer inbound guest support calls clearly, professionally, and promptly
- Respond to Airbnb, VRBO, and direct booking messages
- Support guests before, during, and after their stay
- Calmly handle and de-escalate guest complaints or issues
- Dispatch the boots-on-the-ground technician for in-person support
- Document issues and resolutions clearly
Field Operations Management & Accountability
- Manage the daily schedule and workload of the boots-on-the-ground Property Operations Technician
- Assign, prioritize, and track daily tasks, inspections, and maintenance work
- Hold the field technician accountable for task completion and quality
- Review photos, videos, and written updates to confirm work is completed correctly
- Collect, review, and organize receipts and expense documentation
- Follow up on missed, delayed, or incomplete work
- Escalate performance or quality issues when needed
Maintenance Scheduling & Oversight
- Own and maintain the master maintenance calendar for all properties
- Schedule preventive and routine maintenance
- Log all maintenance requests and issues
- Coordinate vendors and contractors
- Track maintenance status and completion
- Maintain organized digital maintenance records by property
Short-Term Rental Operations
- Manage Airbnb and short-term rental inboxes and calendars
- Send check-in instructions, access details, and house rules
- Coordinate early check-ins and late check-outs
- Monitor and respond to guest reviews
- Handle platform cases and disputes when necessary
Marketing & Booking Growth
- Optimize and manage short-term rental listings
- Improve listing titles, descriptions, and photos (coordination)
- Monitor pricing and occupancy trends
- Adjust availability and pricing to increase bookings
- Respond quickly to inquiries to maximize conversion
Administrative & Financial Support
- Track bookings, payouts, and rents
- Monitor delinquencies and send reminders
- Upload invoices, receipts, and documentation
- Maintain organized digital files for each property
- Support bookkeeping and reporting processes
Qualifications (Required)
- Fluent spoken and written English (must be very clear and professional on phone calls)
- College graduate (required)
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Comfortable answering customer support calls
- Confident managing schedules and holding others accountable
- Experience with Airbnb, hospitality, property management, or customer support preferred
- Comfortable using Google Drive, spreadsheets, and messaging tools
- Calm, professional, and solutions-oriented under pressure
- Reliable internet connection and quiet work environment

Compensation & Benefits
- $25,000–$28,000 USD salaried
