Position Objective

The Accounting Coordinator is responsible for preparing and validating all accounting submissions from Mexico and LATAM. This role ensures compliance with company policies, adherence to spending limits, and accurate invoicing, contributing to the financial accuracy and efficiency of the organization. The position also supports the accounting and operations teams by generating reports and assisting with administrative tasks at Hanwha Vision México.

Roles and Responsibilities

Expense Validation and Processing

  • Prepare accounting submissions from Mexico and LATAM representatives to ensure they meet established requirements and company policies.
  • Verify that all expenses comply with spending limits and are properly documented with valid invoices.
  • Identify and report discrepancies or missing documentation on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.

Reporting and Documentation

  • Prepare and deliver regular reports for the Accounting Manager and operational leadership.
  • Maintain accurate records to support audits and internal reviews.
  • Assist in preparing financial summaries and analysis by region or expense category.

Compliance and Policy Adherence

  • Ensure all submissions comply with local regulations (MEXGAAP), tax laws, and Hanwha Vision internal policies.
  • Stay informed of any updates to accounting or tax regulations relevant to Mexico and LATAM operations.

Communication and Support

  • Act as the liaison for internal departments (Engineering, Marketing Mexico and LATAM, Sales).

Administrative Collaboration

  • Work closely with the administrative team to support financial operations.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance accuracy and efficiency in expense management.

Requirements

Education
: Bachelor's degree in Accounting.

Experience
:

  • Minimum 3 years in general accounting, including expense management, bank reconciliation, tax calculation (ISR and IVA), payroll registration, accruals, fixed assets, depreciation, prepaid expenses, and amortization.
  • Experience working in an accounting firm is required.

Skills
:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (pivot tables, formulas, etc.).
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information responsibly.

Languages
:

  • Spanish (fluent)
  • English (advanced)

Work Location and Schedule

  • Office location: Polanco, Mexico City
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
