Our client is a creative powerhouse, an award-winning production studio behind some of the most iconic music videos and visually striking campaigns of the last decade. They collaborate with global artists, bold brands, and visionary directors to produce work that defines culture and sets new standards for storytelling. Every project is fast-moving, creatively charged, and executed at the highest level of craft.

They're looking for a Bookkeeper to join their finance team and provide accurate, timely, and reliable financial support across all areas of production and operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, creative environment. This role will be essential in maintaining the company's financial integrity while supporting production accountants, finance team and leadership with day-to-day bookkeeping tasks.

Responsibilities - What You'll Do:

  • Maintain accurate financial records by posting and reconciling daily transactions in Netsuite.
  • Prepare and manage expense reports, credit card reconciliations, and vendor payments.
  • Record and categorize financial transactions by project and department for accurate reporting.
  • Support monthly and year-end closing processes by preparing journal entries and reconciliations.
  • Assist in payroll processing and timesheet verification in collaboration with the finance team.
  • Monitor bank transactions, perform reconciliations, and ensure proper documentation of financial data.
  • Collaborate with finance to maintain accurate cost tracking for productions.
  • Support financial audits by preparing necessary schedules and documentation.
  • Provide administrative support for finance-related communications and vendor management.

What We're Looking For:

  • 3+ years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or finance support roles servicing various types of Commercial, Music Video, and Digital productions.
  • Degree in accounting/finance
  • Proficiency in Netsuite, Excel, and general accounting principles.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reconciliation.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a proactive and dependable work ethic.
  • Understanding of production accounting or job costing is a plus.
