We are looking for an Sr. Infrastructure Engineer to join our Platform support team to collaborate with a world-class engineering team to ensure the stability of the platform responsible for processing real-time payments (SPEI). This is a senior-level position based in Mexico City working on Arcus Offices most of the time.

**What you’ll do?**
- Support the engineering and data teams in monitoring, reporting, and creating new developments for the scalability and security of our platform.
- Support engineering and data teams in enhancing the scalability, reliability, and security of our platform.
- Support all infra daily activities ( DB, Firewalls, Servers, Storage, Backup, VM, Containers, monitoring tools)
- Maintain up-to-date documentation on the design, implementation, and troubleshooting of the system.
- Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency in the end-to-end product delivery cycle
- Build process automation to streamline daily tasks in the SPEI operation.
- Verify operations and balances, confirm if any transactions need to be recorded in the Business Core.
- Monitor, reconcile, verify and resolve any discrepancies found on transactions.
- Settle same-day operations and obligations in both SPEI and Business Core.
- Request proper authorizations to approve any manual transactions.
- Process and report returned transactions
- Report atypical transactions to management
- Follow all regulations established in the internal manuals and ethics code, as well as any other applicable regulations

**Requirements**:

- 4+ years of relevant work experience as SysAdmin
- 4+ years of experience with SQL, MySQL databases.
- 2+ years of experience working in virtualized environments (VmWare)
- Desirable to understand Banxico’s regulations
- Experience with creating user manuals and network diagrams
- Experience with monitoring tools. Solarwinds and Graphana desirable
- Experience with Windows/Linux servers
- Experience designed fault tolerant services
- Experience with containers and Jboss
