Job Description:
Main responsibilities of the position:
- Configure and install computers on the shop floor.
- Configure and provide handhelds to designated users.
- Participate in project meetings for New Product Introduction or Product Transfers
- Integration with the O/T, IT and Network Teams to ensure seamless interconnection between the software and hardware components
- Collaborate with O/T Team in testing and validation of MES and IMS solutions to ensure that they meet performance requirements
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware or basic connectivity issues for MES/IMS devices
- Flexibility in learning basic functionality of MES and IMS for effective troubleshooting
- Manage inventory of spare parts
Main job-specific requirements / skills:
- Solid knowledge on configuration of Windows and Android devices (handhelds)
- Hands on experience on installation of computers connected to enterprise networks
- Experience supporting manufacturing systems including computers and label printers
- Understanding of configuration and troubleshoot of label printers (Zebra preferable)
- Intermediate English (Read and Write)
