**Position Overview**

**Key Responsibilities**

**General Ledger & Financial Accounting**
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and integrity in financial reporting.
- Prepare and record journal entries, accruals, and month-end closing adjustments.
- Generate financial statements in compliance with NIF and internal reporting standards.

**Tax Compliance & Electronic Invoicing**
- Prepare and submit monthly and annual tax declarations (IVA, ISR, DIOT) in accordance with SAT guidelines.
- Manage Contabilidad Electrónica, including CFDI generation, XML validation, and proper invoice classification.
- Liaise with external auditors and tax authorities during audits or inspections (SAT, IMSS, INFONAVIT).

**Cost Accounting & Inventory Management**
- Analyze and report on cost of goods manufactured (COGM) and cost of goods sold (COGS).
- Track production costs, monitor variances, and ensure accurate allocation of overheads.
- Support physical inventory counts and reconcile against ERP records.

**Payroll Accounting & Labor Contributions**
- Collaborate with HR to ensure accurate payroll processing and accounting for labor-related liabilities.
- Calculate statutory contributions and provisions (IMSS, INFONAVIT, SAR, Fonacot).
- Manage accounting for annual bonus (aguinaldo), vacation accruals, severance reserves, and profit sharing (PTU).

**Budgeting, Controls & Reporting**
- Assist in preparation of operating budgets and variance analyses.
- Support internal control processes in compliance with company policy and applicable legal frameworks.
- Provide timely financial insights to support plant-level decision-making.

**QualificationsEducation & Certification**
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Registered Contador Público (C.P.) in Mexico.
- CPA or equivalent certification is an asset.

**Experience**
- Minimum of 3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing or maquiladora environment.
- Proven knowledge of Mexican tax legislation, IMSS, INFONAVIT, and electronic invoicing (CFDI 4.0).

**Technical Skills**
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).
- Advanced Microsoft Excel capabilities.
- Working knowledge of applicable Mexican Official Standards (NOMs) relevant to industrial operations.

**Language Skills**
- Fluency in Spanish (written and spoken).
- Fluency in English (written and spoken).

**Legal & Compliance Requirements**
- Active RFC registration with SAT.
- Full understanding of applicable federal tax obligations, labor law provisions, and fiscal audit processes.

**Employment Conditions**
- Full-time position with benefits as mandated by Mexican labor law, including:

- IMSS enrollment
- Vacation, aguinaldo, PTU (profit sharing)
- Employer contributions to INFONAVIT, SAR, and other legal obligations
- On-site presence at the manufacturing plant may be required.

Pay: $20,000.00 - $25,000.00 per month
