**Sales Development Representative (SDR) (REMOTE)**

Opus Connect is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our team and play a crucial role in expanding our network. This role is designed for individuals who are passionate about connecting with professionals in the M&A industry, building relationships, and driving business growth. As an SDR, you will prospect capital providers, investment banks, and service providers to engage them and grow our network. Your efforts will directly contribute to our mission of fostering collaboration, delivering insights, and transforming the M&A landscape.

**Background**

Opus Connect is a professional organization in the lower and middle-market M&A space, uniting private equity firms, investment banks, and service providers to foster meaningful connections and drive success. Guided by our vision, we aim to redefine M&A through collaboration, insights, and specialized services.

**Key Responsibilities**
- ** Outbound Prospecting**:Identify and engage prospects, including capital providers, investment banks, and service providers.
- ** Sales Support**:Collaborate with the sales team to strategize and meet monthly and quarterly goals.
- ** CRM Management**:Maintain accurate records in the CRM system for efficient communication.
- ** Industry Expertise**:Continuously develop knowledge of M&A, private equity, and private credit industries to refine messaging.
- ** Innovation**: Provide feedback and suggest new approaches to enhance outreach techniques and maximize results.

**Objectives**
- Generate and qualify leads: Conduct targeted research and outreach to identify and engage prospects weekly, achieving conversion rate into calls scheduled with qualified leads.
- Drive event participation: Secure participation from new clients for Opus Connect's events and conferences through effective follow-up and relationship building.
- Support sales goals: Contribute to monthly and quarterly revenue targets by consistently delivering high-quality leads and providing insights to enhance sales strategies.

**Required Skills**:

- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, marketing, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years' experience executing sales strategies that align with organizational goals. Ability to craft compelling materials for sales development.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office.
- Self-motivated, collaborative, and passionate about relationship building.
- Knowledge of M&A, private equity, or private credit is a plus but not required.
