Interstaff LLC is a global staffing company searching for a **qualified Abogado / Paralegal - Remote.**
**Position Overview**:
**Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Draft, format, and review legal documents, including complaints, motions, pleadings, and other court filings, ensuring accuracy and adherence to legal standards.
- Assist attorneys in the discovery process by preparing and propounding discovery requests, managing document production, and responding to discovery requests.
- Conduct thorough legal research to support attorneys in case preparation, including the analysis of case law, statutes, and regulations relevant to personal injury & employment law civil litigation.
- Provide high-quality legal writing services, including drafting memoranda, briefs, legal arguments, and other written materials that effectively present legal arguments in a clear and persuasive manner.
- Organize and maintain case files, documents, and deadlines, ensuring that all legal deadlines are met in a timely manner.
- Prepare, review, and file legal documents with the appropriate courts, ensuring compliance with court rules and procedures.
- Manage attorney calendars, schedule appointments, hearings, and court appearances, and ensure attorneys are well-prepared for upcoming events.
- Maintain the confidentiality and security of client information and sensitive documents.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in paralegal studies or law.
- Paralegal certification or law degree preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a paralegal with a strong background in personal injury & employment civil litigation.
- Proficiency in legal research, document management, and case management software.
- Excellent legal writing skills with the ability to craft persuasive legal arguments and documents.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to maintain professional relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in all work.
- Knowledge of relevant personal injury & employment laws, regulations, and court procedures preferred
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
**Working From Home**:
- Fluent in spoken and written English
- Good American accent
- Quiet home office work environment
- Willing to work in US PST time zone
- Fast and reliable internet connection of at least 10MBPS with internet back-up available
- Dependable electricity with power back-up available
- At least 8-gen i3 processors, 8GB RAM, and Windows or MAC, SSD Disc
Pay: $25,000.00 - $35,000.00 per month
