Senior Legal Counsel (New Health Care Company)

The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

As the Senior Legal Counsel Mexico, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
- Partnering closely with business clients and lead multidisciplinary projects for strategic legal advice beyond a single business unit or country._- Assisting on inquiries regarding interactions with healthcare professionals, healthcare regulatory, privacy, employment, dispute management, compliance and / or other specialized areas as assigned._- Working independently on matters of significant complexity or importance._- Leading and executing cross-functional deals and projects of significant impact and/or complexity._- Formulating strategies for sophisticated business setups and dispute resolution._- Identifying and quantifying legal risks, including exploring options and alternatives that provide a balance between risks and business objectives._- Raising and monitoring questions and legal discussions that have applicability to our businesses and operations of the company within the assigned region._- Supporting and accompanying judicial and administrative claims._- Providing recommendations, consultations, and training, including organizational policies or regulatory questions._- Monitoring and proactively managing legal issues occurring within the region, through direct involvement or through management of law firms._- Supporting or aligning the activities of the department with the planning of the area._- Managing the legal department including budget, outside counsel, legal technology._

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, the following qualifications are required:
- Bachelor’s degree in law from an accredited institution_- Good understanding of general commercial law, Competition Law, Health Care Law, Privacy and related areas of practice_- Experienced dealing with assignments in Mexico_- Fluent in English_

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include- Master’s degree in law from an accredited institution_- Qualified to practice law in Mexico_
