Team Overview:
**As a User Operations Intern at DiDi Food, you will be a key player in shaping our user-centric communication strategy by building automated systems, smart algorithms, and insightful visualizations. Your core mission will be to translate complex datasets into actionable strategies that drive personalization, improve efficiency, and enhance the overall food delivery experience for millions of users.

Role Responsibilities:

- Algorithm Development & Automation- Develop and implement algorithms using Java and other scripting languages to automate repetitive workflows across user comms, campaign setups, and targeting logic.
- Design rule-based and machine learning models to support personalization and segmentation.
- Data Analysis & Strategy
- Analyze large datasets to uncover insights about user behavior, preferences, and content performance.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to turn data insights into communication strategies that enhance user engagement and conversion.
- Data Visualization & Reporting
- Create dashboards and visual tools in Excel, Google Sheets, or BI platforms (e.g., Tableau, DataStudio) to track performance metrics, identify trends, and support data-driven decision-making.
- Present findings clearly and effectively to stakeholders across business and tech teams.
- Process Optimization
- Identify bottlenecks in current processes and build tools to streamline campaign planning, content delivery, and data verification.
- Work with internal systems to ensure data accuracy, alignment between platforms, and reliability for automated pipelines.
- User-Centric Personalization
- Develop logic to dynamically personalize in-app and push communications based on user history, category interest, and behavioral triggers.
- Evaluate A/B tests and user feedback to continuously improve targeting and messaging precision.

Role Qualifications:

- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Applied Math, or a related field.
- Solid understanding of Java (basic to intermediate level).
- Comfortable writing SQL queries and working with structured data.
- Basic knowledge of Python for data analysis (e.g., pandas, numpy).
- Strong analytical thinking and curiosity to explore data patterns.
- Familiarity with Excel/Google Sheets and data visualization (any experience with Tableau, Looker, or Python plots is a plus).
