- Supervises direct material buyers
- Process purchase orders and/or blanket orders to obtain materials that meet production requirements
- Monitor/Analyze/Execute ERP action messages
- Monitor incoming supply chain
- Update PO status in ERP system
- Issue discreet purchase orders
- Provide PO status updates to planning & operations teams
- Define/Analyze/Maintain ERP planning parameters
- Manage supplier relationships
- Analyze supply chain performance and define/implement improvements
- Analyze supply chain costs and define/implement improvements
- Support MRO/non-inventory purchasing
- Reconcile PO receipt/invoice issues
- Manage and update purchasing metrics
- Process material returns
- All other duties as defined by management
- Escalation Path for critical issues.
- Set metric individually, track and adjust for improvement.

- COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS_**:

- Strong ERP knowledge required
- ERP system Oracle experience
- Advanced Excel Skills
- Data analysis and reporting
- Analytical and problem solving
- Experience in establishing and maintaining effective supplier relationships

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Experience working in global supply environment and with international suppliers or colleagues

- Intermediate/Advanced skills in MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint & MS Outlook

**_EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE_**:

- Four-year Bachelor Degree in Business or Supply Chain Management
- 5 to 7 years of purchasing or supply chain management experience in a manufacturing environment
- 1 to 3 years of experience with ERP systems
- Demonstrated supply chain knowledge (CPIM, ASCP,CPM)
- Understanding of basic business principles and practices
