**Your impact**
- Work with the EMS NPI project buyers, material planner, production control, planning manager, in support of providing clear to build and planning scenarios
- Drive EMS provider for supply continuity, quick PO placement and risk buy management
- In collaboration with the NPI Program Manager (PM) team, this individual will be responsible for ensuring the continuity of supply to meet on-time execution of the multiple phase builds
- Detailed mechanicals planning and procurement based on revision changes between build phases
- Manage escalation process between EMS and internal Commodity Managers for PANW controlled suppliers and components. Coordinate cross functional discussions
- ECO review, approvals and cost impact analysis
- Cross-functional management of part release
- Audit of EMS purchasing attributes for optimal efficiencies (LT, MOQ/EOQ, ABC, Incoterms, Procurement Method)
- Interactions involve strategic and tactical procurement activities in a global environment
- Maintain and provide metrics on EMS performance, execution to commit, on time delivery, materials availability, inventory liabilities and manufacturing operations data. Present executive summary of material metrics and quarterly business reviews (QBR)
- Propose and execute solutions to eliminate shortages impacting build schedules

Qualifications

**Your Experience**
- Experience in Buying/Procurement/Materials/Commodity/Supply Chain
- Strong understanding of ERP/MRP, What If Scenarios, Clear to Build
- Experience working with Contract Manufacturing / EMS providers as well as PCB, Mechanical Manufacturers and distributors
- Knowledge of Demand Planning and Supply Plan Commit Process
- Detailed understanding of production control and factory floor execution, PCBA and System Integration
- Ability to resolve issues and engage with cross functional team members such as manufacturing technical and supply chain team members
- Ability to chair a weekly cross functional materials management meeting
- Ability to multitask, handle multiple priorities and meet project deadlines
- Superior time management skills and strong attention to detail
- Strong desire to succeed and be able to work independently and as part of a team
- Creative and analytical approach to problem solving
- Lead and motivate towards a “partnership” concept

**Your Education/Additional experience**:

- 5+ years of supply chain/materials experience in NPI environment.
- Proven knowledge of EMS/ODM/JDM/OEM business models, consignment & turnkey materials management, cost modeling, supply chain design, and reverse logistics
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Proficiency in Google (Mail, Sheets, Docs, Slides)
- Demonstrated experience driving a plan to bring resolution to differing opinions, reaching out across functional boundaries to drive collaboration and sharing credit in a team environment.
- Experience using Arena BOM management tools.
- Experience working with Asia based suppliers.
- APICS/NAPM Certification a plus
- Excellent communication skills in English - both written and verbal
