Key Account Sales Manager

Key Responsibilities:Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve and exceed sales targets for the assigned key accounts and territory.Identify, prospect, and onboard new key clients while nurturing and expanding relationships with existing accounts.Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients, understanding their project needs, providing technical guidance, and offering tailored solutions from our product portfolio (waterproofing systems, construction coatings, etc.).Prepare and present compelling technical and commercial proposals, negotiate contracts, and close sales.Collaborate closely with internal teams including technical support, marketing, and logistics to ensure superior customer service and project execution.Conduct market analysis to monitor competitor activity, identify new business opportunities, and provide feedback on market trends.Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and technical seminars to enhance brand visibility and generate leads.Manage the sales pipeline and provide accurate forecasting using the company's CRM system.Qualifications and Experience:Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Chemistry, Business Administration, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of successful sales experience in the building materials industry, specifically in:Waterproofing systems (e.g., membranes, coatings, sealants).Construction paints and coatings (e.g., decorative, protective coatings).Proven experience working with or selling to major contractors, developers, and large distributors in the Brazilian construction market.Highly Desirable: Prior work experience with Sika and/or Saint-Gobain is a strong plus and will be highly valued.Established network of contacts within the Mexico construction industry.Required Skills and Competencies:Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand and articulate product specifications and applications.Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills (in spanish and English).Strategic thinker with a proven ability to develop and manage key account plans.Self-motivated, target-oriented, and capable of working autonomously.Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-centric approach.Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region.
