- 10+ years of experience in the correspondent banking business industry.

Aspectos generales

The Corporate and Investment Banking Department is a key part of the BBVA Mexico Group, where we participate as a single team, together with the other General Departments, contributing value by serving the largest corporate segment in Mexico. 
Our main responsibility lies in developing the bank's relationship with our clients, advising them on their financial risk needs, funding and growth strategies. growth strategies.

Responsabilities:

• Manage and grow a porfolio of Banks in the región under his/her responsibility, based on transaction banking products, such as crossborder payments and Trade Finance.

• Identify and generate new business opportunities, as well as the retention of existing business relationships. Collaborate with other units to increase cross-sell opportunities.

• Set, under the supervision of the Regional Sales & Client Relationship Manager, the goals and the reciprocal strategy with existing Banks in order to increase business flows

• Participate in business trips and events under his/ her responsibility.

• Liaise and work alongside with Bankers and support other BBVA units that may need sign up transactional services with foreign Banks.

• Check and update, according to the IFI managers’ decision, transactional products and services’ prices to IFI customers.

• Cooperate with the Correspondent Banking Policy Specialist in the Swift codes’ exchange process and review existing relationships.

• Review legal documentation of agreements in collaboration with Legal CIB.

• Prepare and analyze risk proposals and participate in Risk committees.

• Support OP+ in the process of detection and incidences-solving that may occur in the day-to-day operations.

• Draw up reports analysing IFI customers under his/ her portfolio, prepare presentations and follow up internal management tools in order to get current and historical activity figures.

• Report to the IFI Regional Sales & Client Relationship Manager on a periodic and ad-hoc basis. Evaluate main performance indicators such as: client penetration, hit ratio, revenues, etc.
