Genetec is seeking a highly motivated individual to act as a pre-sales champion to provide exceptional client service and to help the accounts of the assigned territory drive sales – business development, pipeline and revenue. The Technical Inside Sales Representative becomes a specialist in business trends, the market situation, challenges, opportunities, and product/solution positioning in line with the region’s focus to drive tailored plans that help us achieve mutual pipeline acceleration and revenue growth. The Technical Inside Sales Representative works collaboratively on an ongoing basis towards the goal of long-term account retention and maximized selling opportunities.

What your day will look like:

  • Develop and maintain an extensive working knowledge of Genetec's software solutions, including ability to create small- to medium-sized system designs with their associated BOMs
  • Define product and functional requirements with the objective of preparing quotes based on customer requirements
  • Assist in the development of tailored sales tools and related presentations as needed to help account sales teams successfully position, sell, deploy and use Genetec solutions
  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations
  • Ability to cold call identified clients – either within the assigned territory’s accounts or mutual end-user customers
  • Provide ad hoc consulting on Genetec’s products for cross and upsell opportunities
  • Forecast, manage, and report on ongoing sales and pipeline activity
  • Track effectiveness of programs and the associated ROI; monitor trends and then apply those learnings to improve future programs
  • Work closely with suppliers and various departments for special pricing opportunities
  • Communicating regularly with field reps
  • Researching technical information on product requests
  • Updating customer records and forecasting in the CRM for tracking

About you:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 2-3 years of B2B sales experience for a technology company
  • Experience in the Electronic Security Industry (Video Surveillance, Access Control, LPR, etc.) in Latin America is an asset
  • Excellent English and Spanish communication skills (Portuguese is an asset)
  • Able to articulate clearly and effectively in person, over the phone and in writing
  • Excellent oral and written presentation skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Possesses strong troubleshooting skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint (Microsoft Dynamics CRM is an asset)
  • Ability to work with minimal directions and be able to translate broad directives into useful tactics and meaningful activities
  • Ability to work cross functionally and build relationships with core stakeholders
  • Organized, detailed and process oriented
  • Acumen for understanding of complex technology systems

El Representante Técnico de Ventas Internas se convierte en un especialista en las tendencias comerciales, la situación del mercado, los desafíos, las oportunidades y el posicionamiento de productos / soluciones en línea con las necesidades de la región asignada, para impulsar planes personalizados que nos ayuden a lograr una aceleración mutua de la cartera de proyectos y un crecimiento de los ingresos. El Representante Técnico de Ventas Internas trabaja en colaboración de manera continua hacia el objetivo de retención de cuentas a largo plazo y oportunidades de venta maximizadas.

El día a día:

  • Desarrollar y mantener un amplio conocimiento práctico de las soluciones de software de Genetec, incluida la capacidad de crear diseños de sistemas de tamaño pequeño a mediano con sus listas de materiales asociadas
  • Definir los requisitos funcionales y del producto, con el fin de preparar cotizaciones en función de los requisitos del cliente
  • Ayudar en el desarrollo de herramientas de ventas personalizadas y presentaciones relacionadas, según sea necesario, que ayuden a los equipos de ventas de cuentas a posicionar, vender, implementar y utilizar con éxito las soluciones de Genetec
  • Realizar demostraciones y presentaciones de productos
  • Capacidad para hacer llamadas no solicitadas a clientes identificados, ya sea dentro de las cuentas del territorio o a clientes finales mutuos
  • Brindar consultoría ad hoc sobre los productos de Genetec para oportunidades de ventas cruzadas y adicionales
  • Pronosticar, administrar e informar sobre las ventas en curso y la actividad de los canales de venta
  • Realizar un seguimiento de la eficacia de los programas y la rentabilidad asociada; monitorear las tendencias y luego aplicar esos aprendizajes para mejorar los programas futuros
  • Trabajar en estrecha colaboración con proveedores y varios departamentos para oportunidades de precios especiales
  • Comunicarse regularmente con los representantes de campo
  • Búsqueda de información técnica sobre solicitudes de productos
  • Actualización de registros de clientes y previsión en el CRM para seguimiento

Perfil del candidato:

  • Licenciatura o Diploma Universitario
  • 2-3 años de experiencia en ventas B2B para una empresa de tecnología
  • La experiencia en la Industria de la Seguridad Electrónica (Video Vigilancia, Control de Acceso, LPR, etc) en Latinoamérica es un plus
  • Excelentes habilidades de comunicación en español e inglés (Portugués es un plus)
  • Capaz de articularse de forma clara y eficaz en persona, por teléfono y por escrito
  • Excelentes habilidades interpersonales y de resolución de problemas
  • Excelentes habilidades de presentación oral y escrita
  • Posee sólidas habilidades para la resolución de problemas
  • Dominio de Microsoft Word, Excel y PowerPoint (Microsoft Dynamics CRM un plus)
  • Capacidad para trabajar con un mínimo de dirección y supervisión para poder traducir directivas generales en tácticas útiles y actividades significativas
  • Capacidad para trabajar de manera transversal y establecer relaciones con las partes interesadas principales
