Visit our _PinFlex_ landing page to learn more. _As the Engineering Manager for the Product Excellence Team, you will lead and grow a hybrid team of Android, iOS, Web, and API Engineers that work at the intersection of platform and product engineering. The Product Excellence Team drives foundational architecture, frameworks, best practices, and tools to improve engineering velocity and to empower engineers to ship high-quality experiences to Pinterest users. You will define a vision across these platforms, drive technical excellence, and partner with key stakeholders to prioritize and deliver on the team's roadmap.**What you'll do**:- Lead a team of Android, iOS, Web, and API Engineers and help them develop new skills and advance in their careers- Provide a vision to the team, drive technical excellence, and partner with key stakeholders to prioritize and deliver on the team's roadmap- Drive key initiatives that span across all of our product surfaces to increase adoption of new frameworks and best practices- Partner with the product teams to uplevel the quality of their area**What we're looking for**:- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of at least one of the following platforms: Android, iOS, Web, API- Strong communication, people development, and software project management skills- Ability to deliver on goals and form long-term strategies around technology, processes, and people- Our PinFlex future of work philosophy requires this role to visit a Pinterest office for collaboration approximately 1x per quarter. For employees not located within a commutable distance from this in-office touchpoint, Pinterest will cover T&E.
