Key Accountabilities- This is a hands on manufacturing engineering role with responsibilities for managing a team of engineers as well as performing manufacturing engineering functions- Responsible for plant layout, designing efficient process and material flows, and implementation of machinery.- Lead, coach, and mentor Manufacturing Engineering team- Implement process improvement and new technology to improve mfg cost, improve flow, and reduce the cost of poor quality- Develop and maintain metrics for Manufacturing Engineering- Oversee key projects that support the manufacturing processes and processes for new products- Identify, development, and implement new capital equipment requests for the business that support annual business priorities- Work with Quality, Manufacturing, and Engineering on troubleshooting problems and developing error proof solutions- Provide guidance and support during design reviews to address product manufacturing issues: process routings, machining capabilities, etc- Address quality issues, routing issues, and design changes that could affect manufacturing processes or machinesJob RequirementsCapabilities and Success Factors- Bachelor Degree, Preferably in Engineering, Technology or another technical related field. Advanced degree a plus- Must be bi-lingual English/Spanish- A minimum of seven year manufacturing engineering experience in metal cutting, grinding, machining, lapping, honing, and or assembly- Previous experience managing direct reports preferred- Excellent project management capabilities from idea generation to implementation- Ability to identify, select, and implement new capital equipment into the facility to support business needs- Team player that has the capabilities to work with other functions- Experience with ERP systems - manufacturing functions- Drive for Continuous Improvement- Ability to work in fast-paced work environment- Proven track record of utilizing sound problem solving skill set and root cause analysis as method of metric driven performance improvements- Self motivated individual with the ability to lead/drive through the change management cycle- Other duties as requiredAbout Regal Rexnord- The Company’s end markets benefit from meaningful secular demand tailwinds, and include factory automation, food & beverage, aerospace, medical, data center, warehouse, alternative energy, residential and commercial buildings, general industrial, construction, metals and mining, and agriculture.
